What are Customised Orthotic Insoles?
Customised orthotic insoles are personalised inserts for shoes, individually designed and manufactured to correct biomechanical issues, support the feet, and alleviate pain by improving foot posture and alignment. Each insole is made to a specific foot structure and fitted to your footwear.
What are the insoles made from?
We make each insole from a combination of layered orthotic EVA and Cork. EVA is a lightweight, shock absorber which is moisture resistant and can be heat moulded. Cork has a denser more rigid structure and works well to support the EVA like a cradle, a great alternative to plastic. Plus it will flex and mould to your shoe.
How are the insoles made?
We use the clients cast to shape the EVA foot bed. This is layered and built up with cork and carefully shaped - ensuring the insole sits snugly in the shoe and maintains a good foot alignment.
What is the order process?
On placing the order we send out a foot impression box in the post. With instructions, you make an impression of each foot and return it to us with a pair of your shoes in the prepaid box. Using your foot mould and shoes we make a pair of custom insoles which are posted back.
What if the insoles aren't quite right?
Unfortunately in rare cases a pair of insoles may not reach a clients expectations. Should this happen we are more than happy for you to call or email us and we will do our very best to correct the situation.
In the circumstance of the insoles being damaged or lost in the post it is our resposibility to send you a new pair. Similarly, should there be a manufacturing error we would replace.
As the insoles are a customised product we cannot accept returns.
Can I order extra pairs?
We are always delighted to welcome back happy returning customers. We keep your castings on record and should you wish to order another pair we are very happy to offer a 15% discount.

Our customised orthotic insoles are tailored to fit your unique foot shape. They distribute weight evenly and can alleviate some foot conditions.
Our insoles improve foot alignment and posture and can help reduce pain in ankles, knees, hips and lower back.
Why do I send you my shoes?
In order to get the best fit we need your shoes to shape the insole. We test the fit each insole in your shoes and finesse the shape until the very best fit is achieved.
How long will it take?
On receiving the order we will try and post out the foot impression kit on the same day (if ordered before 1pm).

Yes. We are very happy to visit you at home to take a foot impression. Just send us a message when you are placing the order. We just specify you are within 5 mile radius of central Cambridge.
Can I use the insoles in other shoes?
Yes. The insoles may not be as snug in other footwear, but they are transferable. We recommend more than 1 pair of insoles to avoid this.
How do I clean the insoles?
Although the insoles are moisture and odour resistant they do need some looking after:
Cleaning - Wipe clean with warm water and soap. Allow to air dry at room temperature, do not tumble dry or place on a radiator.
